Class-Level Behavior Overview

Different Priorities. Different FITs.

Fiber Index Fit™ isn't based on the idea that one Fiber Index Class™ is always better than another. The right FIT depends on what you're trying to accomplish at that eating occasion. Fiber Index Class™ describes increasing potential for fiber-associated moderation of carbohydrate digestion and absorption:

FAST™ → lower potential
BALANCED™ → intermediate potential
SLOW™ → higher potential

The practical question becomes:

What level of potential fiber moderation fits my goal right now?

When Carbohydrate Availability Is the Priority

There are eating occasions when making carbohydrate available is an intentional nutritional priority, particularly around certain forms of physical activity. In Fiber Index Fit™, a FAST™ profile represents lower potential for fiber-associated moderation of carbohydrate digestion and absorption. That makes FAST™ a potential FIT for occasions where carbohydrate availability is the priority and less potential fiber moderation is intentionally preferred.

When You're Looking for the Middle Ground

Not every eating occasion calls for either end of the Fiber Index continuum. A BALANCED™ profile represents intermediate potential for fiber-associated moderation of carbohydrate digestion and absorption. That makes BALANCED™ a potential FIT when neither maximizing carbohydrate availability nor prioritizing a stronger fiber context is the primary objective.

When a Stronger Fiber Context Is the Priority

At other eating occasions, quickly available carbohydrate may not be the priority. A SLOW™ profile represents higher potential for fiber-associated moderation of carbohydrate digestion and absorption. That makes SLOW™ a potential FIT for occasions where a stronger fiber context and greater potential fiber moderation are intentionally preferred over prioritizing carbohydrate availability.

The FIT Is in the Goal

FAST™, BALANCED™, and SLOW™ aren't a ranking from bad to good. They represent different Fiber Index profiles that may fit different nutritional priorities at different occasions.

The goal isn't always more moderation or less moderation. It's finding the level of potential moderation that fits the occasion.

Different priorities. Different occasions. Different FITs.
